Why Central Oregon?
Why Prineville?
Why IronHorse?
Don't miss the Lord's Acre Day this weekend in Powell Butte - it is an authentic celebration of all things Central Oregon! Started in 1947 to raise money for the building of a church sanctuary, each farm family was to donate the yield from one acre of land to the Lord's work - thus the name "Lord's Acre."
In its 62nd year, the 2008 event promises great finds from local farms and artisans. Who knows, you might run into someone famous: John F. Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy bought a quilt at the event in 1959. The Lord's Acre Day is this Saturday, November 1, starting at 7 a.m. Also, for those seeking more than shopping, there is the Fifth Annual Lord's Acre 10K run/5K walk with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. See you there! Meet Your Neighbors: The Levesques
When Prineville native Melissa and her husband Nick Levesque were looking for a new home for their growing family, they quickly found IronHorse. They already lived in Prineville, but loved the new home they found built by SunWest Builders. Nick said, "We loved the home's spaciousness and location, plus the quiet atmosphere of IronHorse." Nick works as a pharmacy technician at the Redmond Walgreens and Melissa is a registered nurse at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Prineville. Their 2.5-year-old son Zachary is expecting a new brother or sister early next year.
