IronHorse Homesites and Homes Sales Stay Strong

Here in Prineville, we have all the wonderful things that Central Oregon is known for: blue skies; spectacular views; outdoor recreation of all kinds; and a lifestyle you can really live with. That's probably why we are still the fastest growing county in Oregon, and our home values have continued to rise by nearly 10% last year. People are still moving here and finding home - you can too! Prineville Welcomes New Amenities

The long-awaited opening of the historic Pine Theater was a recent cause for celebration in Prineville. Gone are the evening drives to Bend and Redmond to enjoy a flick - now residents of Prineville can enjoy newly released films just around the corner in style. The refurbished theater has been a downtown landmark since the late 1930s and
has been closed for more than 20 years. Owners of the theater are hoping it can also be used for other creative productions, such as live plays, in the future.

Meet Your Neighbors: The Borns

After nearly 17 years in Sunriver, D.C. and Rita Born are veterans of the Central Oregon lifestyle and knew they didn't want to give it up. However, they were weary of dealing with high Sunriver snowfall and the maintenance of their older two-story home. When they heard that Sun Forest Construction was building its finely crafted homes in Prineville - along with SunWest Builders and Viking Construction - they decided to take a look. With low annual snowfall and a brand-new single story home that fit their needs perfectly, IronHorse in Prineville became their new home.

They love the friendly, laid-back feeling of Prineville and enjoy the expansive vistas and beautiful sunrises from their new neighborhood. Even their six children have visited and given their "stamp of approval" on their parents' choice!
