IronHorse "Block party" Features Free, Fun Activities During COBA Tour of Homes

IronHorse, a mixed-use community located in Prineville, Oregon, will be holding several weekend activities in Prineville as part of the Central Oregon Builders Association (COBA) Tour of Homes, being held July 20-22 and July 27-29.

IronHorse neighborhood builders, Sun Forest Construction, SunWest Builders and Viking Construction will each have new model homes on the tour, with several other new homes available for viewing. Visitors can come learn about all the fun Prineville has to offer during the IronHorse block party, held each Saturday during the tour. 

Saturday, July 21

11 a.m. – 6 p.m.   FREE FOOD & DRINKS – Hamburgers and hot dogs, Pepsi products, and Frozen treats (while supplies last).

2-4 p.m.   COME MEET Benny the Beaver, mascot for the 2006 & 2007 College World Series Champions—Oregon State University.

4 -6 p.m.   LIVE MUSIC: Paul Eddy. Eddy performs songs from his folksy and eclectic 2006 CD Frozen By Fire, along with familiar country, pop and rock & roll covers.
 
Saturday, July 28

11 a.m. – 6 p.m.   FREE FOOD & DRINKS – Hamburgers and hot dogs, Pepsi products, and Frozen treats (while supplies last).

4-6 p.m.   LIVE MUSIC: Doug Zinn. Doug brings a heartfelt mix of acoustic and electric classic rock, country and gospel to the table.  Local performer, long-time Central Oregon resident.

All day both Saturdays during the tour there will be several giveaways and prizes for adults and kids alike. IronHorse can be reached by traveling east on Highway 26 (Third Street in Prineville), turn left on Juniper Street at the east end of town, right on Laughlin and left on Hudspeth Road until the Whistle Way intersection.
