Brooks Resources Announces Approval of Tentative Plan Application for IronHorse
May 17, 2006Brooks Resources Corporation today announced that it has received
approval from the City of Prineville Planning Commission on its first
tentative plan application for IronHorse, its new community in
Prineville. The tentative plan, which is in compliance with the
previously approved master plan, includes the first eight phases of the
community.
"This most recent approval displays the city's
continued confidence in the IronHorse project and the positive impact
that it will have on the community," said Randy Jones, project manager
for Brooks Resources. "This step means that we should be able to break
ground in early summer, with homesites available for local builders,
production builders and individuals in the fall of this year."
The
tentative plan submitted by Brooks Resources meets the company's stated
goal of developing in stages, an approach that can flexibly respond to
market conditions and demand.
IronHorse will have approximately
2,900 dwellings, which Brooks Resources plans to build out over the
next 15-20 years. The residential offerings will include single family
homes built on lots of various sizes, apartments and townhomes. Also
included in the plan are a large number of parks and open spaces,
nearly eight miles of trails, plans for a K-8 school and other civic
use sites.
